After going through some of my snacks I realized I had a hidden box of Dr. Lucy's Berry Best cookies. This excited me and I immediately opened up the box and ended up eating 4 cookies and boy were they good! I decided I needed to do a review on these cookies since I have also had the Cinnamon Thins flavor in the past. Unfortunately when I looked on Dr. Lucy's website I learned that the Berry Best flavor was one of the seasonal summer flavors. So while you can't get this flavor now summer will come before you know it. What I love about this company is their dedicated facility which is actually thankfully becoming more common now. Check out great letter posted on their website from their CEO/President Lucy herself...
"Dear Valued Customer,
All our products are made in a dedicated bakery where we incorporate three key standards you and your family can count on:
We only buy raw materials from carefully selected producers, thus reducing or eliminating the chance for allergen contact before we use the ingredients.
We use the best available methods to ensure there are no detectable allergens from our testing list: gluten, milk, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts such as almonds and hazelnuts.
We don’t allow any of these items into our bakery. In fact, peanuts and tree nuts aren’t even allowed in our building!
Our Quality Assurance Program provides delicious treats for you and your family while doing everything we can to safeguard you from these specific allergens: gluten, milk, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts such as almonds and hazelnuts.
As an M.D. and mother of a child with severe food allergies, I understand the necessity for strict quality standards and how to achieve them. Every Lucy’s cookie is made with you in mind.

Companies like this really give me confidence in what I'm eating. It's so important to have that dedicated facility to assure their is no risk of cross contamination. I've been able to find this brand at so many stores now even my local Target is carrying their cookies. Keep in mind these cookies are crunchy while they taste great I would love to see them make a chewy version. :) I'll be looking into their other cookies when I finish my stashes of cookies.
